Lead, Data Scientist (The Prudential Insurance Company of America, Newark, NJ):
Lead advanced data science initiatives that use advanced statistical methods to analyze, model, and transform large amounts of disparate data into sophisticated models that deliver actionable insights and process transformations. Works with broader project issues and plans for the full scope, across design, development, testing, business engagement, and team leadership. Identify optimal sets of data, models, training, and testing techniques required for successful product delivery. Direct junior team members in data analysis and model development, testing, training, and tuning. Execute on data aggregation, analysis, and visualization; model development, training, and testing; and the creation of data and model pipelines. Communicate in writing and verbally all facets of model design and development. Look for insights in models developed and generate new ideas for model improvement.
Telecommuting permitted up to 60% per week.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, $181,300.00 per year.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Machine Learning or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Machine Learning or a related field and 3 years of related work experience.
Must have 3 years of experience in:
