Our current brands include the award-winning Nectar, DreamCloud, Awara, and Siena products and we continue to invest in new categories to broaden our offering and address our customer's needs. Since our inception in 2017, Resident has become one of the fastest-growing, scaled, and profitable omnichannel retailers in North America. We are a disruptor in the broader home furnishings category underpinned by deep and proven expertise in data science & analytics, performance marketing, and e-commerce technology. As our business continues to grow, we are focused on building world-class retail, finance, operations, logistics, data science, performance marketing, and customer success-driven teams that thrive in a modern work environment.
At Resident, our staff is dedicated to the values of Excellence, Customer Love, Big Thinking, Inclusivity, and Forward Momentum.
To be considered for this remote opportunity, you must reside and be authorized to work within the United States.
About the Role:
Resident is looking for a Manager, Search & AI Visibility to join the SEO team within the Labs Product division. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role at a pivotal moment in Resident's growth. As one of the fastest-growing omnichannel retailers in North America, Resident is expanding its brand portfolio, entering new categories, and building the organic infrastructure to support long-term, scalable growth. This role sits at the center of that — with real opportunity to shape SEO strategy not just across Resident's core brands, but across a broader ecosystem of brands and business units within our parent company. For the right person, this is a career-defining opportunity to operate at scale, influence a growing organization, and help build something that matters.
The role will play a key part in supporting Resident's next phase of growth, with a strong emphasis on new brand launches, site migrations, and scaling SEO practices across an expanding portfolio. It will support core Resident brands — Nectar, DreamCloud, Awara, and Siena — as well as Newton Baby, Ashley portfolio brands, and future brands as they are brought into our catalog, content, feed, and ecommerce ecosystem.
This person is responsible for owning and executing SEO strategy across technical SEO, content SEO, on-page optimization, site architecture, internal linking, indexation, and authority-building initiatives. We are not looking for someone who only reports on performance. We need someone who can identify what needs to be fixed, create the plan, partner with the right teams, and drive work through to execution. The right person will be technical enough to work directly with Engineering, content-minded enough to improve pages and briefs, analytical enough to find opportunities in the data, and confident enough to present recommendations and results in cross-functional forums.
This role will also help grow organic visibility, traffic, and revenue across traditional search and emerging AI search surfaces — including AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and other citation-led experiences.
What You'll Be Doing:
The responsibilities described above are not exhaustive. You may be asked, from time to time and as reasonably required by business needs, to perform other duties consistent with your skills and role, including work for or on behalf of our related entities. This job description does not constitute a contract of employment and may be modified at any time, subject to applicable law.
