We are looking for an exceptional Principal Product Manager of AI Assisted products, to lead the strategy, design, and delivery of AI-driven products that solve complex, real-world problems in international eCommerce. You will work at the intersection of business, technology, and data science to create scalable, impactful AI products that drive better outcomes for our brands and their customers globally.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will own the AI product vision, work closely with engineering and data science teams, and collaborate with stakeholders across the business.
Lead AI Product Strategy: Define and drive the AI product roadmap aligned with ESW’s business goals, from personalization engines and agentic AI to predictive analytics, fraud prevention, customer experience automation, and more.
Problem Discovery: Work closely with commercial, operations, and customer success teams to identify high-impact problems where AI can deliver measurable business outcomes.
Product Ownership: Own end-to-end product lifecycle. From ideation, design, and development to deployment and post-launch monitoring.
Data and AI Readiness: Champion a data-centric mindset. Work closely with data teams to ensure data quality, governance, and availability.
Collaboration: Partner deeply with Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering, and UX teams to implement AI solutions, including LLM-based AI agents, AI onboarding tools, and knowledge bots that are not just intelligent but also usable and explainable.
AI Model Integration: Translate AI/ML outputs into user-friendly features, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability in production environments.
Metrics and Outcomes: Define and track success metrics (business KPIs, model performance, adoption rates, customer satisfaction...) and iterate rapidly based on data.
Responsible AI: Ensure ethical, unbiased, and transparent AI practices in product design and delivery.
Thought Leadership: Serve as a thought leader internally and externally on the role of AI in global eCommerce, staying abreast of the latest advancements in AI and how they can be applied at ESW.
Drive prompt engineering best practices and experimentation frameworks to optimise model performance and user outcomes.
Proven Experience as a Product Manager building and shipping AI/ML products in production environments.
AI/ML Literacy: Solid understanding of machine learning techniques (supervised, unsupervised, NLP, LLMs...) and their real-world application limitations.
Execution Excellence: A track record of shipping AI products that have delivered business results, not just PoCs.
Ability to demonstrate pervious success in this field including Apps that have been developed, prompt libraries, etc.
Technical Acumen: Comfortable working with technical teams; able to translate complex AI concepts into business impact.
Cross-Functional Influence: Exceptional collaboration skills across engineering, data science, design, and business teams.
Customer-Centricity: Deep empathy for users.
A track record of building products that customers love and trust.
Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to define success metrics, conduct experiments, analyze results, and drive continuous improvement.
Responsible AI Mindset: Awareness of bias, fairness, explainability, and data privacy issues in AI systems.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in AI/ML a plus but not required.
Bonus: Experience in eCommerce, logistics, payments, fraud prevention, or international expansion.
