Flodesk is one of the world’s fastest-growing email marketing companies, built to help creators sell online and design emails that people love to get. Our commitment to small business owners is to create simple and intuitive tools that help them grow, nurture, and monetize their email list.
We’re a remote-first company headquartered in San Francisco, California, with a globally distributed team—including an in-person office in Da Nang, Vietnam. Our team reflects the diversity and creativity of the people we serve. Join our mission to level the playing field for small business owners through good design
What you’ll do:
- Own high-impact, cross-functional AI initiatives: You’ll define hypotheses, scope experiments, and roll out new capabilities that align with Flodesk’s long-term AI vision.
Drive end-to-end product development on strategic projects that operate outside our standard product track.
- Thrive in uncertainty: Operate in an environment with undefined constraints—rapidly iterate on ideas, make timely trade-offs, and move quickly from concept to customer-facing release.
- Partner closely with co-founders and senior stakeholders: Work side-by-side with Co-Founders, Design, Engineering, and Core PM teams to align on priorities, secure buy-in, and ensure seamless execution of our AI roadmap.
- Execute as a hands-on IC: You won’t be managing direct reports—rather, you’ll roll up your sleeves as an individual contributor. You’ll get to learn, guide and determine how we can effectively define a new process for how we approach our AI track. This will include driving product specs, leading cross-functional squads, and owning the success metrics of your projects.
- Use data-driven decision-making: Partner with our data and research teams to analyze market research, customer feedback, and product analytics (e.g., Amplitude, Google Analytics, user interviews). Translate quantitative and qualitative insights into prioritized product opportunities and measurable post-launch success.
- Communicate at all levels: Present product strategies, success metrics, and trade-offs clearly and persuasively to executive stakeholders. Establish written and verbal communication norms that drive transparency and alignment.
What you bring:
- 8+ years of product management experience (ideally in B2B or B2C SaaS, preferably with a focus on email marketing, ecommerce tools, or creative-driven software).
- Proven track record as an IC: Demonstrated ability to deliver high-visibility, strategic projects without the formal support of a “people manager” role.
- Comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration: You have launched significant product initiatives in environments where requirements evolve quickly. You’re energized by moving fast, testing early, and learning continuously.
- Strong cross-functional leadership: You’ve led squads of designers, engineers, and data analysts to build complex web-based products. You can influence peers and executives without direct reporting lines.
- Deep customer empathy: You understand small business owner pain points around email marketing and sales pages. You’ve conducted qualitative interviews and quantitative analyses to inform direction.
- Data fluency: Skilled at designing A/B tests, analyzing results (basic statistical comfort), and leveraging tools like Amplitude, Google Analytics, or Holistics to draw actionable conclusions. Familiarity with experimentation platforms is a plus.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication: You can craft clear product specs, roadmaps, and strategy decks. You know how to surface trade-offs concisely and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-starter mentality: You enjoy working autonomously but know when to escalate or align with co-founders. You take ownership from ideation through launch and ongoing optimization.
- Remote and global collaboration: Ability to thrive in a remote-first environment and collaborate effectively across time zones, cultures, and working styles.
What you’ll have the chance to do:
- Be a key driver of Flodesk’s next wave of innovation—owning projects that redefine how small businesses tell their stories via email and sales pages.
- Operate in a lean, high-velocity environment where your ideas go from whiteboard to market in weeks, not quarters.
- Collaborate directly with cofounders to influence company direction, shape strategy, and define success metrics that matter.
- Serve as a mentor and thought partner to the Core product team — help them navigate ambiguity, scale best practices, and elevate Flodesk’s overall product discipline.
- Make an immediate, outsized impact on a growing, remote-first team of passionate designers, engineers, and marketers who value creativity, speed, and collaboration.
What we bring:
- $200,000 - $240,000 base salary
- Fully paid health insurance
- 16 weeks paid parental leave
- Unlimited flexible time off
- 401k match (US employees only)
