Description
Windward is seeking a customer-obsessed Product Marketing Manager to be the voice of the Trading & Shipping (T&S) vertical inside our walls. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you’ll live “in the field” with customers and prospects—turning raw insights into product direction, sharpening our value proposition, and ensuring every roadmap decision lands with maximum market impact.
Type: Full-time, Hybrid (Client-facing travel expected ~30-50%)
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and run customer visits, interviews, and workshops worldwide to surface unmet needs and validate product-market fit.
- Map trends, pain points, and the competitive landscape and package findings into clear, data-backed messaging and GTM ideas.
- Partner with Customer Success to help craft compelling use cases and ROIs to strengthen our messaging and USPs.
- Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers across their respective projects to identify recurring patterns and common needs, translating these into new use cases and messaging.
- Be an advocate of the Windward brand and product vision in every customer interaction.
- Represent Windward at industry events, forums, and strategic customer meetings.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the Trading & Shipping industry - a must!
- 3+ years of experience in Product Marketing Management within B2B SaaS companies.
- Proven experience in marketing AI/ML-based products
- Compelling storytelling capabilities that translate technical nuance into a narrative that hooks both C-suite and front-line users.
- Deep empathy for users and a passion for solving real-world problems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently (~30-50%) across Europe and globally as needed.
