Overview
We are looking for a meticulous Software Tester with experience in AI technologies to join our team. The primary role involves testing and validating the refactored applications transitioning from HCL/IBM Portal to Liferay. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ensuring software quality and performance, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Test Planning and Design: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for AI-enhanced applications migrated to Liferay from HCL/IBM Portal.
- Automated and Manual Testing: Execute both automated and manual testing, ensuring that all functionalities meet the highest quality standards.
- Bug Reporting and Tracking: Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools, ensuring prompt resolution and follow-up.
- Collaborative Testing: Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of AI features and the overall quality of the application.
- Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing to evaluate application stability and scalability post-refactoring.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure all applications adhere to internal and external compliance standards.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in software testing, ideally with on AI-driven projects and platforms like Liferay.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and their implications in software testing.
- Understanding of continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Tools and Platforms:
- Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
- Familiarity with testing management tools such as JIRA .
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to diagnose issues, analyze failures, and provide insightful feedback.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear bug reporting and documentation.
