Join Google DeepMind’s Frontier AI Research team to drive the operational and technical success of our most ambitious efforts to advance the state of the art in artificial intelligence. As a Technical Program Manager, you will serve as a strategic partner to research leads, translating complex and ambiguous scientific goals into actionable technical roadmaps that push the boundaries of machine learning. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between foundational breakthroughs and real-world applications, ensuring our research lands successfully in global-scale products.
In this role, you will lead and drive high-impact programs that involve significant technical complexity and cross-functional dependencies. You will apply deep technical acumen to perform due diligence on engineering scope, influence technical decision-making, and accelerate the delivery of research breakthroughs. You will build complex programs, fostering collaboration and bringing clarity to ambiguous research challenges. This multidisciplinary role operates at the frontier of the AI, from Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and large-scale multimodal evaluation frameworks to strategies that define how AI systems safely and effectively interact with society.
