Job Description:

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Cambridge, MA (multiple openings): Technical Project Manager. Senior. Engage with customers on design and implementation of global applications with a specific focus on quality and scale; Create and manage proposals, Statements of Work, and detailed project plans for customer integrations such as timelines and effort estimates; Work closely with customers to manage and implement technically feasible solutions and set accurate expectations on effort and timelines; Work closely with Account Management, Sales professionals, engineering, product development, and Customer Care teams to resolve issues that arise during customer integrations; Establish success criteria and act as the customers’ liaison for all technical issues and project deliverables; Evaluate Akamai Media customers’ architectures and deliver the appropriate integration solutions; Identify new product features and additional sales opportunities during the trials and integrations for the product development and sales teams. Required Qualification:

Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems and Operations Management, Information Technology, or Telecommunications, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or closely related technical role.

Must have: Two (2) years of experience with the following: coordination of technical projects or programs, including presentation of technical subject matter to non-technical audiences; CSS, HTML, Java, Javascript, Python, or SML; and databases, data warehousing, information retrieval, or SOL.

Compensation:

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $108900 - $226100/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
