We are seeking a Senior ML Researcher to advance AI capabilities for robotics, focusing on enabling robots to understand dynamic environments and perform complex tasks physically.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and deployment of machine learning models for robotic perception, planning, and control in dynamic real-world environments.
- Research, prototype, and implement cutting-edge algorithms in deep learning, reinforcement learning, or multimodal learning, tailored to robotics.
- Design and manage end-to-end ML pipelines — from data collection and labeling to training, evaluation, and deployment on embedded systems.
- Collaborate closely with robotics, hardware, and software teams to integrate and optimize ML models for real-time performance.
Qualifications:
- PhD/Master in Machine Learning, AI, Robotics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proficiency in multimodal models, modern ML architectures (e.g., transformers, diffusion models), and reinforcement learning.
- Expertise in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
- Publications on top-tier AI/Robotics conferences.
- Requires 5 days/week in-office collaboration with the teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in designing high-quality ML experimentation and data pipelines.
- Expertise in object pose estimation, bimanual manipulation, and synthetic data.
- Familiarity with edge compute architectures and ML software engineering best practices.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
