Seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test with proven skills in API and UI test automation

As an SDET, ensure software quality by designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions aligned with user needs.

As a Software Development Engineer in Test II, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, maintaining automated frameworks for UI and API tests, ensuring coverage, reliability, scalability, consistency.
• Creating and running automated scripts with appropriate tools for API and user interface testing.
• Collaborating with developers to understand architecture and creating strategies ensuring complete and robust test coverage.
• Investigating test failures, identifying root causes, and coordinating with developers for timely issue resolution.
• Guiding junior engineers in test automation practices, framework design, and ensuring consistent implementation across teams.
• Integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, optimising execution, and ensuring quality gates meet delivery standards.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• 2+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
• Demonstrate extensive experience in automation-focused SDET roles, creating scalable and maintainable test solutions.
• Conduct API testing utilising Postman, RestAssured, and related frameworks for automated validation.
• Demonstrate expertise in UI automation using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright across browsers and platforms.
• Develop test scripts using Java, Python, or JavaScript to ensure high-quality software releases.
• Utilise TestNG, JUnit, and CI/CD tools including Jenkins or GitLab for continuous integration processes.
• Collaborate in agile teams, utilise Git, JIRA, TestRail, and uphold quality with structured testing practices.
