The Global Sales Program Management team enables the Akamai Sales organization to achieve its go-to-market objectives by driving strategic process, analytics, and technical transformation programs to increase seller productivity and drive revenue.

You will manage complex programs that have a direct impact on critical business goals and objectives. You will also lead cross-functional teams and subject matter experts in their development, planning and execution.

As a Senior Program Manager Strategy & Operations, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading multiple concurrent cross-functional programs from inception through to launch and beyond
  • Driving programs from problem statement to solution using business insight, industry best practices, and cross-functional stakeholder input
  • Developing success metrics and implementing measurement processes to illustrate the impact of a transformation program
  • Building and executing on comprehensive communication plans including communication up and down the leadership chain
  • Implementing change management for transformation programs, ensuring stakeholders are fully enabled, change is adopted, and success metrics are achieved

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 8yrs of experience and a Bachelors degree
  • Have professional experience as a Project/Program Manager working effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Be comfortable navigating ambiguity, handling risks, and shifting gears as needed
  • Able to adapt processes to fit the needs and styles of diverse stakeholders and projects
  • Demonstrate skills at managing dependencies across teams and functions
  • Able to manage 10-30 stakeholders per project, including C-level executives and directors
  • Operate with a high sense of urgency and a customer/stakeholder-first mentality
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships, often through multi-year programs or partnerships

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $101,400 - $210,600/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
